About

Adocta Diet Clinic, Your Partner In Wellness

Vincent-Adocta Awuuh is an HCPC-registered Dietitian (PIN: DT035697) and BDA member with more than 13 years of clinical, research, and community nutrition experience. He holds an MSc in Sustainable Food Systems (Distinction, UWE Bristol), an MPhil in Human Nutrition and Dietetics, a BSc in Community Nutrition, and an MA in Health Education. He is committed to making evidence-based nutrition knowledge and consultation accessible to all — particularly people in vulnerable and underserved communities.

Vincent works co-productively: with you, not at you. He takes seriously where you live, what is available, what is affordable, and what is culturally meaningful — because the food environment shapes what reaches the table. His approach blends the clinical rigour of the Nutrition Care Process with a broader understanding of why eating well isn’t always easy.

His clinical work spans medical nutrition therapy for diabetes, hypertension, obesity, renal, and gastrointestinal conditions, with approximately 1,200 supervised placement hours across medical, surgical, paediatric, renal, and OPD units. He served as Head of Department from 2017–2024 and currently provides nutrition-informed, person-centred care in residential dementia and mental-health nursing homes in Bristol. His research includes a community-based randomised controlled trial on maternal and child undernutrition in north-eastern Ghana and a current clinical study on Bird’s Nest Peptides and maternal-foetal outcomes.
